Fill in one box to keep the shape, or both for an exact size. Pick a shape and the other box fills itself.

Both sides change by the same amount, so the shape stays the same. Under 100% makes it smaller.

How to use

  1. Type the width, the height, or both, and pick the unit (px, cm, mm, inch or %). For cm/mm/inches, set the DPI the form expects (200 is common).
  2. Choose or drop a JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC image.
  3. It resizes straight away. If the new size is a different shape, choose stretch, black or white bars, blurred bars or crop to fill, then download.

Frequently asked questions

How do I resize a photo to 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm?

Choose cm as the unit, set the DPI (use the value the form mentions, often 200), and type 3.5 and 4.5. If your photo has a different shape, pick Crop to fill or White bars so the face is not stretched, or crop it yourself first with the Crop tool.

How do I make a photo square or 16:9 without cutting it?

Pick the shape (1:1, 16:9…), type one side, and choose Black bars, White bars, Blurred bars or a colour of your own. The whole picture is kept and the gap is filled. Crop to fill fills the frame and trims the edges instead.

What does DPI mean here?

DPI (dots per inch) turns a physical size into pixels. At 200 DPI, 1 inch = 200 pixels and 1 cm ≈ 79 pixels. Portals check pixels, so the DPI you choose decides the final pixel size.

Will resizing reduce the file size in KB?

Usually yes when you make it smaller, but to hit an exact KB range use Compress image, which searches for the best quality inside your limit.

Is my file uploaded anywhere?

No. ConvertRight runs entirely in your browser. Your file is processed on your own phone or computer and is never sent to a server.
