Frequently asked questions

What is the photograph size for CUET UG?

Photograph: JPG/JPEG, No fixed size, 10–200 KB. Colour photo, 80% face (including ears, without mask) against a white background. Source: CUET (UG) 2026 Information Bulletin, last verified 19 Oct 2026.

What is the signature size for CUET UG?

Signature: JPG/JPEG, No fixed size, 10–50 KB. Sign on white paper and crop close to the signature. Source: CUET (UG) 2026 Information Bulletin, last verified 19 Oct 2026.

My file is smaller than the minimum KB. What should I do?

Use “Make it fit”. We keep the highest JPEG quality allowed; if the image is still too small (common for simple signatures), we add harmless padding inside the file so it meets the minimum size. The picture itself does not change.

Will the portal accept a photo taken on my phone?

Usually yes, if it is sharp, well lit and on a plain light background. Crop it to the face and shoulders using the box above. Avoid filters, beauty modes and selfies at arm’s length.

Are my photo and documents uploaded to ConvertRight?

No. Everything runs inside your browser. Your files never leave your device, and nothing is stored after you close the page.

How do you know these specs are correct?

We read the official notification and link it under “Official sources” with the date we last checked (19 Oct 2026). Specs can change between years, so open the notification for your cycle if anything looks different.
