Your files never leave your device
Every tool on ConvertRight runs entirely in your web browser. When you choose a photo, signature, PDF, video or audio file, it is read and processed locally on your phone or computer using built-in browser features (Canvas API) and open-source libraries (pdf-lib, pdf.js, heic2any, and Mediabunny for video and audio) that are downloaded with the page. Your files are not uploaded to our servers or anyone else’s, and we never see, store or share them. When you close or reload the page, the processed files are gone.
What we do not collect
- No account, login, name, email or phone number is needed.
- We do not store the files you convert or any information about their contents.
Hosting and server logs
The site is served as static files by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare may process technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and protect against abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Advertising and cookies
We show ads through Google AdSense to keep the site free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

Ads never have access to the files you process, because those files never leave your browser.
Google Translate
ConvertRight is translated into 11 languages without any third party. If you pick “More languages (Google Translate)”, we load
Google’s translation widget, which sends the page text (never your files) to Google and sets a googtrans cookie to
remember your choice. Nothing from Google Translate loads until you ask for it, and picking one of our own languages clears that
cookie. See Google’s privacy policy.
Background remover
The Remove background tool runs small AI models on your device. Two of them (a subject cut-out model and a face check) come from this site. If your photo shows a person, your browser also downloads a portrait model (MODNet) once from Hugging Face (huggingface.co), which sees a normal file request from your IP address. Your photo is never sent there or anywhere else. The models are then kept on your device and reused.
Local storage and offline use
ConvertRight itself does not set tracking cookies. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser’s local storage and never sent anywhere. To keep working without a connection, the site stores its own pages and code, and the background remover model once you have used it (never your files), in your browser’s cache. You can clear it any time from your browser’s site settings.
Children
The site is a general-purpose tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
